Stranded on a remote island a group of friends holiday is torn apart when a bat bite triggers an infection. As the women fight for survival against the contagium and armed locals desperate to contain it, Lucy, seven months pregnant, must battle to save herself and the life growing inside her.
Taking inspiration from The Descent, Cabin Fever and Evil Dead THE COLONY will be directed by Julian Richards (Darklands, The Last Horror Movie, Reborn, Daddys’s Girl). Currently in the finance/packaging stage THE COLONY is expected to shoot in UK in Q2 2027.
Jinga will be looking for pre-sales at the upcoming Cannes Marche.
